Angel Reese may want to rebrand herself after World Cup win

Angel Reese and the rest of Team USA are flying high after their FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup victory, marking the fifth consecutive year Team USA has won the gold.

It has to feel good to bring another win home for the USA, and that's something to celebrate. But after coming back to the States, Reese is focused on her time with the Atlanta Dream and getting them deep in the WNBA playoffs.

It's been a strong year for Reese. She is averaging a strong 16.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this season, playing in 39 games. Her field-goal percentage is 43.7 percent, and her free-throw percentage is 73.4 percent.

With Team USA, she's also been strong, clocking an average of 7.2 points, five rebounds and 1.2 steals in 15 minutes per game, according to the FIBA's official YouTube page.

Now, Reese may want to rebrand herself as she heads into her first game back with the Dream. That's because USA Basketball is calling her "Gold Angel."

Team USA Basketball also shared a video of Reese celebrating the gold win, lying down on the ground covered in gold confetti and making a "snow angel" movement.

Yes, Reese is known as "Barbie" lately because she now has her own Barbie doll, but "Gold Angel" has a nice ring to it, right? Perhaps she should rebrand herself as "Gold Angel."

Whether she's called "Barbie" or "Gold Angel," Reese will be back on the court with the Dream on Thursday to take on the Connecticut Sun.
