Falcons-Packers 'TNF' takeaways: Bijan Robinson runs wild, Jordan Love flops

When the season started, most expected more from the loser of Thursday night's game. However, through three games and based on what happened during "Thursday Night Football," the outlook for the Atlanta Falcons and Greet Bay Packers has flip-flopped. 

The Falcons went to Lambeau Field and dominated the Packers to the tune of 35-14. Green Bay's defense, still without Micah Parsons, had no answer for Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, who racked up 194 yards. It wasn't even just Robinson who found success on the ground either, as Brian Robinson Jr. ran for 50 yards of his own.

In addition to Green Bay fans being concerned about the defense, and for good reason, the struggles of Jordan Love and the Packers offense are even more alarming. And that's because there doesn't seem to be a fix in sight. 

With pressure on Love to step up his game and lead the Packers on a deep playoff run in his fourth year as the full-time starter, much the same both of his predecessors did, he was unable to create a rhythm all game long. Love went 28-of-53 for 312 yards, but much of that production came in the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach. 

He did throw a pair of touchdown passes and a late pick, but he was unable to consistently get the ball down the field or utilize his mobility. In fact, Love, who entered the game having completed just 52.1% of his pass attempts, has shown signs of regression early in the season. He only threw for 145 yards as the Packers barely beat the New York Jets 20-17 in Week 2 and put just 22 points on the board despite tossing for 387 yards in the season-opening loss to the rival Minnesota Vikings.
