College football rankings: ESPN moves teams way up and down after Week 4

Week 4 brought a serious shake-up to ESPN's Football Power Index, with the latest FPI Top 25 rankings looking noticeably different heading into Week 5. That's expected as the college football season progresses, and especially after a huge weekend.

It's that time of year when the standout teams really start standing out, and other teams start falling by the wayside. Plus, every single game makes a difference now, and one loss can take a team from the top of the leaderboard down more than just a few notches. That's what makes college football exciting this time of year.

The biggest change came at the very top. Georgia moved up two spots and now sits at No. 1, while Notre Dame made the same two-spot climb to No. 2. That pushed Ohio State down to No. 3 after the Buckeyes opened the previous rankings in first. So, there was quite a shake-up and major change in the top teams.
