Rams HC Sean McVay apologizes for short presser after 'SNF' loss

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay was under fire after ending his press conference quickly following the 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on "Sunday Night Football."

McVay fielded questions for just 90 seconds before exiting, causing many to wonder why he cut it short, although it was a frustrating loss for L.A. 

On Monday, McVay issued an apology, saying there was a "misunderstanding" regarding the timing. 

“I’m sorry that I missed you guys yesterday,” McVay said, via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “I had been going for a few minutes and there was some misunderstanding with some of the timing."

“It never was my intention to ever miss any of your questions. If there was any sort of misunderstanding, that was definitely not the case," McVay added. 

McVay also said it was an "emotional game," which included a controversial pass interference call that negated a Rams interception and led to a game-winning touchdown by Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.
