Eagles make unwanted franchise history after 'MNF' loss to Bears

The Philadelphia Eagles suffered their first loss of the season in a stunning 27-7 defeat against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Monday night.

The Bears were playing with third-string QB Case Keenum, but the veteran delivered in his first start in over 1,000 days.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts took a big hit, but he was able to finish the game, although he threw for just 153 yards with an interception.

Eagles appear on the wrong side of history books

The Eagles ended up on the wrong side of franchise history, as their defense just can't force a turnover.

The Eagles defense didn't have a single takeaway for the third straight game, marking the first time in franchise history that has happened through the first three games, according to ESPN Insights.

Veteran Vic Fangio is at the helm of the Eagles defense, but they have surprisingly been lacking turnovers to begin the 2026 campaign.

Here's another stat that shows just how poor the Philadelphia defense has been so far.

- Worst in time to pressure
- Don't have a single turnover, only team in league

Of course, the offense scoring just seven points won't help, but the defense has not done its part in any game this season.

Let's see if things change going forward, but the Eagles face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 in another tough matchup.
