Entering Week 4 of the NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks rank 18th in the league in rushing yards per game with 101.
The rushing attack has been led by rookie Jadarian Price (39.7 ypg), but that won't be the case for at least the next four weeks after an injury announcement on Saturday.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Price is being placed on injured reserve, meaning he'll be out for at least the next four games.
Schefter reported that Price is dealing with a chest injury that he suffered at practice during the week.

As noted above, Price has averaged just 39.7 yards per game this season, but that leads the team through three weeks. Backup running back Emanuel Wilson is a close second behind Price, averaging 36.3 yards per game.
It is a much different attack than last season when Seattle ranked 11th in regular-season rushing yards per game and fourth in rushing yards per game in the playoffs.
In the absence of Price, it will be the aforementioned Wilson and George Holani carrying the load in the ground game for the Seahawks. They'll have a favorable matchup in Week 4 against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that allows the 13th most rushing yards per game (116.3 ypg).
For Seattle to remain effective in the play-action pass game like it usually is, Wilson and Holani will have to be efficient and make teams respect their abilities on the ground.
