Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever did not have the ending they wanted for this season.

However, they saw some bright spots within the roster outside of their three-headed monster, including Raven Johnson. The rookie guard posted a carousel of photos on Instagram of different moments from her first year in the WNBA. Her three-time All-Star teammate dropped a reaction to it.

Johnson received more playing later in the regular season and in the playoffs. Her best postseason performance was in Game 1 against the Las Vegas Aces. The former South Carolina Gamecocks star produced 14 points and two steals in 22 minutes. She saw action in all three games of the first-round series.

The Fever were eliminated on Thursday after suffering a 94-83 loss at Michelob ULTRA Arena. They entered the season as one of the title favorites but failed to dethrone the defending champions.

Caitlin Clark has strong message for Raven Johnson

Clark dropped a four-word reaction in the comments section. She kept it simple but sent a strong message to Johnson.

"Year 1."

"#3era," Johnson wrote.

"So proud of u," Clark commented.

Johnson averaged only 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 39 regular-season appearances. However, her strong play late in the season could result in an increased role in 2027. Johnson showcased her impressive skill set in limited playing time but could have a bigger role.

She entered the WNBA as the No. 10 overall pick by Indiana this year. Johnson enjoyed a successful collegiate career with the Gamecocks, winning two national championships. The 23-year-old also earned SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.

Clark, on the other hand, shared her plans for the offseason. She vowed to work on the facets of her game that she believes she needs to further improve on. The Fever have big decisions to make, especially on potential moves to give the team the best chance to win the title next year.
