Right now, the SEC showdown between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide is up in the air amid tropical storm Isaias.
Meteorologist James Spann said there is a “nightmare” scenario where the storm hits the area, causing concern about whether the game will be canceled.
As of Wednesday, the game is still scheduled to be played.

James Spann also had another update on the storm on Wednesday, and this remains a day-by-day case.
"Concerning the Alabama/Georgia football game Saturday night… best possible case is for a faster moving system. Rain could end before kickoff with diminishing wind. That is a very real possibility. But, with the current NHC forecast rain is still likely for the game with winds of 20-30 mph. And, a tornado threat is on the table as well with Isaias passing to the west."
