Kentucky football has found a flair for the dramatic, and the Wildcats are making a habit of delivering in overtime.
After a thrilling comeback victory over South Carolina in Week 5, Kentucky once again found itself in another overtime game on Saturday night against the LSU Tigers.
Not only was it the first time in program history that the Wildcats had played back-to-back overtime games, but the result was quite literally the same in both.
Kentucky went for two and converted in the 35-34 win over South Carolina, and that same result played out Saturday against LSU.
The Wildcats scored to make it a one-point game before a successful two-point try gave them a 35-34 win. So, not only did Kentucky play back-to-back overtime games for the first time, but it won both games with an identical score of 35-34.

KENTUCKY WINS! @UKFootball pic.twitter.com/fEYNWXaogu
In their first season under head coach Will Stein, the Wildcats leave Saturday's game as true threats to compete for a spot in the SEC Championship Game.
Kentucky now has wins on the road at Texas A&M (ranked No. 10 at the time of game) and South Carolina (favored by 2.5 points), as well as a home win over No. 10-ranked LSU.
It's hard not to take a team with that resume seriously now with the SEC season nearly halfway complete.

With six games remaining, Kentucky's schedule is extremely manageable. The Wildcats have two remaining road games against ranked teams (at Tennessee, at Missouri) but no other ranked games on the schedule.
Kentucky will likely be favored in four of its six remaining games, meaning if it takes care of business in the games it's favored in and can pull off an upset somewhere, a 10-2 season is within reach in Year 1 under Stein.
