Gametime reported that the Dream’s regular-season ticket demand tripled this year. Reese’s addition was a big reason for it as she landed with the Dream in April via a trade with the Chicago Sky. Fans flocked to State Farm Arena and Gateway Center Arena to watch the 24-year-old play.

Reese is amid a historic year. She set new marks for most rebounds in a game and in a season, as well most double-doubles in a single campaign. The three-time All-Star also earned her first Defensive Player of the Year award and Team USA selected her to its FIBA World Cup lineup. She averaged a career-high 16.4 points, with 12.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 43 regular-season games.
Reese will be relied upon heavily again to dominate inside the paint against the Valkyries’ frontcourt. However, it’s easier said than done as they have a deep roster. Gabby Williams will spearhead their attack, along with Cecilia Zandalasini and Janelle Salaun.
