Ravens QB Lamar Jackson inches one step closer toward injury return

The Baltimore Ravens are sure hoping superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson can return after he missed the past two games with an ankle injury.

Jackson returned to practice in limited form on Wednesday, and there were still plenty of questions about whether or not he could go against the Cincinnati Bengals.

On Thursday, the Ravens released another injury report, and Jackson was listed as "limited" for the second straight day, which bodes well with regard to his chances of playing against the Ravens' AFC North foe.

Jackson reportedly "moved around well" during the practice session that was open to the media.

Jackson suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans, and Tyler "Snoop" Huntley has been filling in under center for Baltimore.

Huntley led the Ravens to a 30-23 overtime win in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons, and he threw for two touchdowns while rushing for another.

In Week 6, the Ravens fell to the Cleveland Browns, 13-10, on the road, and Huntley went just 19-of-31 for 165 yards with a score.

The Ravens are 4-2 and the Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers are also 4-2. The Bengals are 3-2, so the AFC North is very crowded with one-third of the season in the rearview mirror.

Jackson has a chance to play on Sunday, and his final status should be revealed this weekend.
