Britt McHenry, a former ESPN reporter and current press advisor in President Donald Trump's administration, was escorted out of Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena after throwing a drink at a fan during Wednesday night's Milwaukee Bucks-Washington Wizards game.
TMZ obtained video of the incident.
McHenry, who also previously worked for Fox News before becoming a press advisor to the U.S. Department of State under Secretary of State Marco Rubio, was showered with boos, had a towel thrown at her, then blew kisses to the crowd as she left the arena.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, McHenry, 40, who was with a male friend, was provoked by a group of guys who were “getting loud and obnoxious.”
A source told Page Six that one of the guys began “heckling” Bucks player and former wizard Kyle Kuzma, who is engaged to model Winnie Harlow.
Page Six added, the guy then allegedly began hurling “misogynistic” comments toward the former Fox contributor and even “threw a drink on her,” according to our source, who further claimed McHenry had been “drinking” throughout the evening.
Despite the exchange, sources close to Britt insist she wasn't kicked out ... telling us she left on her own to head to the bar, while her male guest stayed behind and met up with her after the game.
No word yet from McHenry's representatives or those with the Department of State.
