Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb sends blunt message to Eagles fans after win

The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night for their first win at Lincoln Financial Field since the 2021 season, and WR CeeDee Lamb was in the middle of it.

He caught two of Dak Prescott's three touchdown passes, then joined ESPN's "SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt" set after the game and made his feelings about Philadelphia impossible to misunderstand.

Dallas trailed 21-20 late in the third quarter when Prescott dropped a 16-yard throw into the corner of the end zone, where Lamb had gotten behind cornerback Tariq Woolen. Prescott ran in the two-point conversion for a 28-21 lead, and Philadelphia did not score again. Lamb finished with five catches for 74 yards, his other touchdown a nine-yard grab that capped the Cowboys' second drive of the night.

He was asked where beating the Eagles ranks among every team in the league.

"First of all, I hate Philly, that's for one. Eagles suck, you heard the fans. But, overall it was just, I don't like losing, I don't get along with losing. I hate losing more than I like winning, you know what I am saying? It don't sit well with me, I don't have a great day, it ruins my week. It makes me want to be a better player, a better brother and overall a better man for my God because I know how much work we put in each and every week and for us to come out and not play how we should? It's a little difficult on my head," Lamb said in full remarks transcribed by Heavy.

What CeeDee Lamb's last trip to Philadelphia looked like

Lamb's previous game at the Linc was the 2025 season opener, and it ended with him dropping four passes in a 24-20 loss, three of them after halftime and two on deep throws late in the fourth quarter with the game still in reach. On Monday, he compared the series to a sibling rivalry.

"I love playing here. You know what I'm saying, I am here once a year and it's like very routine. This is like one of those, you always want to beat a brother. We always see each other, we have an understanding of what they're gonna do and vice versa, so it is a little tougher," Lamb said.

In February 2025, after Philadelphia won Super Bowl LIX, Lamb told content creator Katie Feeney that Eagles fans were more passionate than Cowboys fans.

"Our fans are deep, but they're not, I don't wanna say nothing crazy, but the Eagles got it," Lamb said at the time.

Whoever Lamb heard on Monday, it was rarely the home crowd. Bleeding Green Nation described a Linc that sounded lifeless for most of the night, with large sections of empty seats showing with nine minutes left.

The loss was Philadelphia's fifth straight, the first five-game slide of Nick Sirianni's tenure. It came with Tanner McKee at quarterback while Jalen Hurts sits on injured reserve with blood clots, expected to miss the rest of the season.
