Montreal Canadiens netminder Jacob Fowler has showcased how he's been an invincible force with his dominant start this season.
The 21-year-old owns a remarkable .942 save percentage and a 1.54 goals against average (GAA).
His recipe for success early this season has been recognized through his six-game winning streak. This included him recording an invincible 46-save shutout against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, where he stole the show. His stellar performance also earned him the NHL's Third Star of the Week.
Boasting a 6-1-0 record across seven appearances, his dominance has also been highlighted by two shutouts. His first came against the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 10. He faced 30 shots and stopped all of them in the Habs' 1-0 victory. His performance was also monumental as he became the first goaltender in Habs franchise history to log a shutout in regulation, overtime and a clean shootout in one game.

In the Heritage Classic, he was also the youngest goalie in NHL history to perform in an outdoor regular-season game on Oct. 25. His dominance helped the Habs propel past the Winnipeg Jets in a 2-1 victory.
Fowler has earned the spot as the team's starting goalie following injuries and roster shakeups and has been applauded for performing like a veteran.
Stepping up to the challenge and doing it with composure showcases his maturity in his rookie campaign with Montreal. All in all, defying the odds as a rookie has made his electric start this season a force to be reckoned with.
