The new-look Portland Trail Blazers are off to a 3-1 start as fans have enjoyed watching the dynamic duo of Damian Lillard and Ja Morant.
Unfortunately, everyone will have to wait to see them back in action together again.
ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania dropped a crushing injury update Friday afternoon regarding Morant.
Morant returned to Memphis on Thursday with revenge on his mind against his former team. He ended up leaving the game with an apparent leg injury.
Charania confirmed it's a hamstring injury that will keep Morant out of action for at least a month.

The official update is a Grade 2 hamstring strain for the explosive guard. He will miss at least four weeks, per the report, which sets him up to return around the start of December.
This is tough news for Trail Blazers fans and continues a concerning trend of NBA players going down early this season with serious injuries. He joins the likes of Anthony Edwards, Jalen Williams and Tyrese Haliburton as big names already missing significant time.
Morant is averaging 15.8 points per game so far this season in his first season out of Memphis. His absence likely means Jrue Holiday will take on a bigger role as Portland figures out how to fill Morant's void.
Morant has never played in more than 67 games in a season and hit that mark way back in 2020. He has had both health and personal issues keep him off the court, and this hamstring injury is just the latest thing keeping the former No. 2 overall pick on the sidelines.
