A Jonathan Taylor trade appears increasingly likely, with two teams seemingly in the lead for the Indianapolis Colts running back.
The Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants are the two favorites to land Taylor, according to Jonathan Jones of The Athletic. The Seahawks, Packers, and Browns have also shown interest, but are not seen as the most likely destinations.
The Giants, in particular, are viewed as a fitting spot for Taylor. The team has a need at running back and has started the season well enough to possibly justify the acquisition. The Vikings also fit, but they may have a greater need the Colts can help them fill.
Trade rumors have continued to intensify around Taylor as the Colts essentially reset their organization. The 28-year-old does not sound opposed to a move either, which makes sense considered where he sits at this point in his career.
This season, Taylor has rushed for 610 yards and eight touchdowns. He has topped the 1,500 yard mark twice in his career.
