There is no denying that 4M Equine Ranch has recently gained significant attention. The ranch made a bold statement at the 2023 Pink Buckle Stallion Select Owners Sale by purchasing a total of $1.5 million in horses.

This impressive acquisition included three horses: the 2020 stallion Epic Rokstar, the 2020 mare Kiss Me Good Bye, trained by Brittany Tonozzi, and the 2017 mare Special for Tres PZ, with lifetime earnings of over $100,000.

Following the sale, 4M Equine Ranch added several notable stallions, including Epic Leader, Traffic Guy, Shawne Streakin Jet, and partnered with Vickie Adams of Firewater Creek Ranch on Fire Water Flit

While the 4M Equine Ranch boasts impressive horsepower, the individuals behind its vision and success are just as noteworthy.

Darrell Martin – a self-made businessman – and his 17-year-old daughter, Felicity – an accomplished barrel racer – are working alongside partner Kylee Scribner, the 2021 WPRA Resistol Rookie of the Year, to make this ranch a success.

"There were a hundred different horses sent to us but we picked through our stallions and horses with the future in mind. It wasn't just a spur-of-the-moment thing," said Scribner.

The 4M team has a background in barrel racing, with the Martins previously competing on the local level. Recently, Felicity and Scribner have secured their spots in the 2024 American Rodeo Regional Semifinals.

Felicity and her 2016 mare, Peachy and Juicy, qualified at the Glen Rose, TX American Contender Qualifier, while Scribner secured her spot at the year's most significant qualifier in San Antonio, TX, riding her 2016 gelding, Firewater Cartel, with lifetime earnings of almost $200,000.

"Darrell has always made sure Felicity is surrounded with the best, they don't halfway do anything," said Scribner.

4M Equine Ranch is currently constructing a cutting-edge facility in Decatur, TX, which will offer various therapeutic services for horses, including a walker, cold spa, and breeze track. The indoor arena will host exciting barrel races, and the facility will also provide training and lesson opportunities for interested individuals.
