Some of the best bull riders in the world gathered in Clovis, Calif., for the PRCA Xtreme Bulls event on April 24. In conjunction with the Clovis PRCA Rodeo, the Xtreme Bulls is a sought-after annual event for the community of Clovis. This year, live music and a drone show topped off the show.

The Xtreme Bull events showcase top bull riding talent all over the world. The top riders in the PRCA standings and contestants who advance through the Xtreme Bull qualifying events compete. A one-night event in Ellensburg, Wash., in 2002 turned into what is now a full-fledged PRCA-sanctioned tour.

Roscoe Jarboe from New Plymouth, Idaho, took home the win as one of three bull riders to ride two. The 28-year-old has five NFR qualifications and a lifetime PRCA earnings of over a million dollars. Jarboe is sitting No. 4 in the 2024 standings with $61,633 won thus far.

He placed sixth in the first round with an 82.5-point ride, followed by a round win in the finals with 89.5 points aboard the Corey & Lange Rodeo bucking horse, Pretty Boy. With a combined score of 171.5 points, he dominated the event and won nearly $12,000 to add to this year's earnings.

The other two riders to cover two bulls were JR Stratford and Parker Breding. Stratford is also an NFR qualifier who is sitting No. 8 in the 2024 standings, and Breding is a four-time NFR qualifier.
