Round 1 of 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Postponed

While details are still unclear, Las Vegas Events and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association have announced that Round 1 of the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo which was scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7 will be postponed.

News reports issued warnings of an active shooter on the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus late this afternoon. 

At this time, all contestants and rodeo officials are known to be safe. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those involved. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and report as details become available and official.
