The Unleash the Beast Tour comes to its finale this week, May 9 - 19.  The top 40 bull riders in the world of Professional Bull Riders Association have descended on Cowtown Coliseum to see who will walk away with the $1 million prize and the rights to claim World Champion.

Elimination Rounds

The Elimination Rounds begin with the top 40 bull riders in the Unleash the Beast standings along with five invitees start the competition by attempting to ride one bull in each of the four elimination rounds.

After the final bull bucks on May 12, the top 15 in the UTB standings along with the top five of the aggregate who haven't already qualified will earn the right to move on to AT & T Stadium for the Championship Rounds on May 18-19.

Ride for Redemption

The remaining 25 who did not qualify have one more chance to advance after going through the Ride for Redemption rounds on May 15-16.  Those 25 will be paired with 15 additional invitees to compete in two more rounds.  The top 5 cowboys will move out of these rounds and into the Championship.

Championship Rounds

The culmination of a year's worth of work and beast mode being deployed in the elimination and redemption rounds comes to a close at AT & T Stadium May 18-19.

Starting with a clean slate with none of the previous week's scores carrying forward, 40 of the best bull riders in the world will pair with the best bulls to see which man can conquer the beasts.

The bull rider with the most points in the Unleash the Beast series at the end of the Championship Rounds will be the World Champion and $1 million richer.  The aggregate champion of the finals will also be awarded the World Finals Event Championship.
