They might look simple and minimalistic, but if you're like me, that's exactly what I look for in a skate shoe. I don't need any bells and whistles—just give me a strong shoe built for skateboarding. 

Asics continues to do things the right way. I really admire how they're setting the stage for a handful of skateboarders who genuinely deserve a proper shoe sponsor, but might get overlooked at times. And honestly, all the shoes I've seen so far look great.
