Like many, I was a huge fan of the A Happy Medium video series when I was younger. I'm still a huge fan of them all—don’t get me wrong—but I admit I just hadn’t revisited them for a while. Thankfully, that recently changed.

Here we are in 2025 and A Happy Medium HD just dropped, and damn, I can’t even explain how stoked I am. The OG vibes are still there. We see plenty of familiar faces and a few new ones. And it exceeded my expectations, to say the least. This is something to celebrate. Press play:

The video features: John Motta, Jeff Stevens, Michael Eddy, Lazer Crawford, Kilian Martin, Jason Park, Johnrob Moore, Jordan Rommel, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki and a ripping Friends section. That list of names speak for themselves—gang's all here!

The O’Shea brothers have been holding down the Arizona skate scene for years now, and their latest masterpiece—what could be the final chapter—is a worthy curtain closer on one of skateboarding’s most beloved indie video series.

A Happy Medium 1 & 2 were both just as important to me in my late teens/early 20s as any other video that dropped around that time. I went through a gnarly John Motta phase, ha! Trying so hard to skate weird spots and get rad, I was quickly humbled by it all. The dude makes the wildest stuff look so easy, and I was so stoked to see him open the video.

To be fair, every name on that list above absolutely killed it, though. Jaws shuts the video down with one of the best video parts of his career. Lazer is right at home. Johnrob is as creative, technical and rad as ever. The list goes on. Literally all of them.

But it’s the filming, editing and soundtrack that really brought me back. In fact, every video in the series has introduced me to new music, and this was no exception.

If you’ve never seen A Happy Medium, be sure to do your homework and watch ‘em all. Seriously, do it today.

Either way, carve out some time and dive into A Happy Medium HD above. Shoutout to the O’Shea brothers and all the skaters who have ever popped up in one of the vids. Legendary stuff, all for the love. That’s real!
