The new Tekkira Cup from adidas Skateboarding has quickly become a staple in the Three Stripes lineup since it dropped in early August. I've only heard good things about the shoe from folks who have skated it, and personally, I've been eager to slide my feet into a pair.

The hype around the kicks continues to build with fresh drops like this. Black, teal and scarlet? Hey, I know color combos are basically endless when it comes to shoes, but these are an absolute hit. Drop two is coming in hot—get a closer look below.

"A new silhouette for skateboarding that combines late '90s running aesthetics and early aughts court-inspired style, the Tekkira Cup blends cupsole comfort with performance," adidas mentions on its site. "Created with a suede upper and breathable mesh lining and tongue, the Tekkira Cup offers comes with a Lightmotion EVA heel drop-in for better shock absorption and stabilizing pod for enhanced balance and board flick."

If you ask me, the Tekkira Cup is the epitome of what a strong, solid, modern-day skate shoe looks like in 2025. It’s technical, but not all up in your face. It’s stylish, but it’s strong and built to skate. And honestly, every colorway I've seen has been an absolute banger. What more do you need?

The fact that they retail for $100 almost seems like a steal these days. Skate shoes ain't cheap! So you might as well pay for quality you can trust. And it's hard to deny that adidas knows a thing or two about making proper skate shoes at this point. Trusted by the best, loved by the rest, the Tekkira Cup is blessing the shoe walls of your favorite shops as you read this. Roll through and see what all the hype is about.
