Behind The Scenes of a Skateboarding Photo Shoot with Guy Mariano

We all saw Guy Mariano's amazing new Dickies ad, shot by the always masterful Sam Muller, and of course we were all wondering how it all went down. Well, thanks to Dickies, JoeFace and Kevin Perez, here's the tell-all of how they rigged the spot, turned on the hose, and got the shot—all amid a SoCal heat wave. 

Putting in work indeed. Guy had to drive around and find a spot that would sick for an ad, had to pour and mix his own concrete, rig up a pole jam and fit it into the joint—then it was a three-man operation to turn on the water for each try. Guy even brought three full completes to the photo shoot just in case any of them got too waterlogged to ride 

Even after this many years in the game, Guy is going to the greatest lengths to get a sick photo for his ads. Speaking of, you see the latest IG clip Guy filmed with Seu Trinh?
