The latest Louie Lopez 2 colorway from Converse CONS proves that Louie's second signature shoe is still hitting all the right notes. It's clean, it's versatile, and it's built for skateboarding. In fact, I haven't seen a wack colorway yet!

And it's not just Louie who's been taking advantage of how good these kicks are—the whole team has been rocking 'em. Peep Zion Effs doing his thing in a recent Instagram post below. It's why we're here, after all.

“How did Louie Lopez find inspiration for his latest signature skate shoe?” Converse asked when the kicks first dropped. “By turning to classic Converse track and field cleats. The result? A sleek, low-profile style that gives you next-level boardfeel, durability, and a clean look, on or off the board.”

I have no problem believing the LL2 will stick around season after season. No frills and no gimmicks with these—just solid skate shoes designed in part by one of the greats.

I’ve been a fan of Louie since he was the pint-sized, long-haired little ripper blowing minds across the globe. He’s come a long way since those days, but he’s always been one of the best, if you ask me. Some people just have it. Louie is one of them. It's been a treat seeing him turn into the legend he is today. Skateboarding wouldn't be the same without him.
