For us skate nerds, we love this stuff. Stickers are right up there with decks and T-shirts from yesteryear. If you've been paying attention to Dan's collections on SkateHoarders or his multiple Vlog entries over the last couple months, the dude is an incredible collector of skateboarding memorabilia. He just uploaded a couple new videos unearthing his sticker collections and they're worth a watch.
"This week on the Doing Things Vlog, I cracked open a photo album packed with vintage skateboard stickers — a full trip through skate history. From Jim Phillips’ Santa Cruz art and Gonz’s Krooked graphics to East Coast shop stickers and rare VHS-era brands, every page tells a story. I talk about the brands, the art, and the memories behind the stickers that shaped skate culture through the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s. If you’re into old-school skate graphics, zine culture, or the roots of skateboarding design — hit subscribe so you don’t miss the next deep dive."
And part two:
"Ripped through another round of my vintage skateboard sticker album — Vol. 2, Pages full of 80, 90s and early-2000s skate history: classic logos, shop stickers, and all those graphics that made skateboarding feel alive. You’ll spot S.M.A, Invisible, Capital, Poets, Santa Cruz, Baker, Bootleg, and a ton more. This is pure sticker-nerd nostalgia — if you know, you know."
Stickers relating to board graphics, patches, 411 trading cards—and Dan's got the stories to go with them all. A true historian.
