DC Shoes just dropped a bold new take on the Ascend in a clean, summer-ready colorway. With its strong silhouette and some refined detailing, this new version of the shoe feels as modern as it does classic, which is exactly what you’d expect from a brand like DC in 2025.

Maybe this colorway is right up your alley, or maybe it has you scratching your head, but I'd say fans of DC are probably pretty eager to lace these up and get rad. Plenty of OG skate shoe brands have been on a rollercoaster of sorts the last few years, and DC is unfortunately no exception. Their team might be smaller these days, but with dudes like Josh Kalis and John Shanahan helping steer the ship, the current vibe feels oddly familiar. Drops like this make absolute sense, if you ask me.

Regardless, the Ascend continues to evolve while staying true to the brand’s DNA—style, confidence, comfort. And this new colorway offers a fresh perspective without losing sight of what makes the Ascend a go-to in the first place.
