First Look: Converse CONS x Black Sheep Skateshop CTAS Pro High Drops 9/19

Converse CONS and North Carolina's Black Sheep Skateshop are joining forces on a super limited CTAS Pro High alongside the folks at Deckaid set to drop on September 19.

Inspired by Todd Bratrud’s Chris Farley tribute graphic, “There’s One in Every Family," they're only making 50 pairs and "all proceeds support Deckaid's mission to spotlight the intersection of skateboarding and art while giving forward to youth centered organizations" CONS mentioned on Instagram. Take a look:

They’ll be available exclusively at Deckaid’s “Central Impact” opening night (9/19) at The Mint Museum in Charlotte, so of you're in the area, roll through and shoe some support.

Design Highlights:

• Black Sherpa upper

• “Smoke” grey midsole and toe cap

• Microphone cord-style rope laces

• Custom caution tape print necktie-inspired tongue

• Unique Chuck Taylor All Star patches

• Footbeds featuring original artwork by @toddbratrud

• Includes a pack of custom buttons for DIY flair

• Special edition packaging autographed by @toddbratrud showcasing the deck graphic before (top) and after it’s been skated (bottom) — a nod to skate artwork in motion

Pretty rad, right? These things check all the boxes: history, art, skateboarding, collectibility and of course, supporting an epic local shop. Seriously, if you’re anywhere near Charlotte, don’t sleep. These are gone the second they hit the floor.
