Can you actually skate the Nike SB Air Max 95? It's a question many have asked, and for good reason. Nike SB, SNKRS and Slam City Skates recently sat down for an afternoon of conversations inside the East London shop to talk shoes, scenes, and stories... and in their own way, they answered the question perfectly.

The latest “Talking Shop” episode dives into the Air Max 95 rework—and how this iconic silhouette connects with London’s skate and street culture. Take a look:

The video taps in with Slam City Skates locals, Lloyd Davies, Ben Keegan, Lew Lew, Savannah Stacy Keenan, Andrew Makepeace, and Eddie Mills—each offering their own perspective on what the Air Max 95 means to them and their city. From a born-and-raised North County San Diegan, it's actually pretty interesting.

Nonetheless, it's rad seeing the squad actually skating the shoes, and honestly, I'm kind of blown away. I look at these things and just can't imagine actually stepping on my board with them. But with that said, it just goes to show—to each their own.

The Slam City crew seems to be enjoying them, that's for sure. Respect.

And hey, the shoes sold out as fast as any Nike SB Dunk Low drop, so what do I knlow?

"We are hyped to have been so actively involved in this historic release," mentioned Slam City Skates. "And look forward to further storytelling from the Nike SB design squad."
