Not surprised here as Tyshawn Jones is still one of the most marketable (and talented) skaters doing it, and LV's Creative Director Pharrell Williams has a long history of mixing it up in the skate industry. Peep one of three IG posts with Tyshawn taking his signature pop over LV's signature trunks:

"Tyshawn Jones for Louis Vuitton. The House and @pharrell are pleased to welcome the American skateboarder and the newest Friend of the House, perpetuating a celebration of unique talents in the LVERS community."

In the second IG post, the skate photo, Chad Muska summed it up in the comments, "Pop the trunk."

And the third post? Straight chilling, head to toe in LV:

"Tyshawn Jones for Louis Vuitton. Embodying the House’s values of excellence, creativity and craft, the Friend of the House joins @pharrell in an ever-evolving sartorial journey."

An interesting step in skateboarding's direction from LV. As you remember, when Virgil Abloh (RIP) was in charge, he put Lucien Clarke on the team and gave him LV's first pro model/skate shoe.

Looking for some new Tyshawn Jones skate footage mixed in with some classic bangers? Look no further than this new IG mix:

A really good interview to listen to: Pharrell Williams launched Ice Cream Shoes back in 2004 and it was met with mixed reviews within skateboarding. Nowadays, as you can see, it wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. Team manager Nino Scalia and team rider Jimmy Gorecki broke down the stories of Team Ice Cream—a brand ahead of its times. Worth a watch!
