New Balance Numeric and Museum recently joined forces on a limited, cardboard inspired, multi-layered 272 silhouette.
The shoes feature tear-off panels that reveal hidden details, which isn't something you typically see, and look like they'll be ready to rip right out of the box. Get a closer look below.
New Balance says the shoes are, "part surrealist art project, part functional skate shoe, featuring tear-off panels that reveal hidden details, and a packaging tape inspired outsole."
Personally, I'm backing the corduroy and I've always been a fan of the 272, just in general. And with Museum founder (and of course, ripping skateboarder) Tom Karangelov steering the ship, these things are bound to skate as well as they look.
The shoes are available now on the Museum site and select shops across the country now. You can check them here!
