Nike SB's Air Max Ishod has been steadily earning its spot in the lineup season after season. We've seen some tasteful colorways drop over the past year or so, along with some strong, subtle staple colors all the same. But this just might be the most eye-catching drop we've seen to date. Bright colors. Bold contrasts. It's like it shouldn't work... but it does. It really does.

The Billiards-Inspired Air Max Ishod has been being teased here and there for a bit, but they're officially hitting local shops across the country as you read this. Bet you didn't know Ishod was a pool shark, huh? Swipe through the post below for a closer look. Who's copping?

"Infused with elements taken from iconic '90s hoops shoes, the Air Max Ishod is built with all the durability you need to skate hard," Nike SB mentions on its site. "This creative twist on the original Ishod design features updated mesh, exposed Nike Air (with Max Air technology) and a cupsole that breaks in easily. Now, step in and skate like you mean it."

Ishod's Silver Bullet colorway was an absolute hit when it dropped as well. (Peep the post above if you somehow missed them.) I feel like the overall design of this shoe really allows you to get creative with the color schemes. There's a lot to play with, you know? And the powers that be certainly aren't afraid to test those boundaries.

Have you skated a pair? I'll admit I don't see the Air Max Ishod out in the wild too often, but anyone I've ever seen skating them will happily tell me how strong, durable and skate-ready they are. And they always seem to fly off skateshop shoe walls nonetheless.

Again, they just dropped. If you're feeling them, hit your local shop and cop a pair. And if you ever see Ishod at a pool table—run away.
