P-Rod is back on his board and already clipping up after recovering from a few recent injuries following the X Games (and, well, a trip to Disneyland—you'll see). Regardless, Paul has been steadily getting back into the groove, and as always, documenting the process for us all to enjoy. Take a look:

"I got a heel bruise at X games and pulled my hamstring trying to race my friend Vic at Disneyland," Paul wrote in the YouTube description. "These two sessions were super fun getting back in the groove at April skate park."

Now, I'm not laughing at him—fully with him—but the fact that he pulled his hamstring racing his friend at Disneyland is sort of comical, in an ironic sort of way. Hey, the veteran pro has had his fair share of injuries and setbacks over the years from skateboarding (and always comes back stronger than ever), but it's the last thing you'd expect during a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth.

It’s clear that the time off his board isn't about to slow Mr. Rod down one bit. He's getting his rhythm and confidence back. These things take time! At any rate, some styles are truly timeless. Paul will always be graceful and dialed as far as I'm concerned.

Setbacks? Nah! Give him a reason to push through and be resilient, and hey, he surely will. Love to see it, Paul! Maybe next time you race your buddy, though, just stretch a bit first? Keep the clips coming either way. And heal up soon!
