To kick off the 15th Annual Adult Go Skateboarding Day, SHUT Skateboards partnered with Ace Hotel Brooklyn and artist Russ Pope on a limited-edition collection featuring a skateboard, T-shirt, and hat. A portion of the proceeds from every item sold benefits the Harold Hunter Foundation, helping support its mission of empowering underserved youth through skateboarding.
The morning brought together skaters from all over for coffee, breakfast, product releases, raffles, and giveaways before everyone rolled out together from Ace Hotel Brooklyn to meet up with the official Adult Go Skateboarding Day skate through New York City.
Check out the event photos and the video recap, both produced by Chum Media.
A huge thank you to Russ Pope, Ace Hotel Brooklyn, SHUT Skateboards, Chum Media, and everyone who came out early to support the project and help make it such a memorable kickoff to the day.
