For the skate nerds and product geeks alike, it's no surprise that "hybrid wheels" have been the talk of the town recently. It seems like every brand either has a version—or is teasing a version—of their own, but the Powell-Peralta Dragons were admittedly the ones I remember hearing about first.

The team at Powell-Peralta recently cut together a testimonial video featuring random (unpaid) reviews from skateboarders across the globe, and it's pretty interesting, to say the least. I've tried 'em. I liked 'em. But they still aren't my everyday go-to's. Nonetheless, they're good wheels—no debate. See for yourself:

"The amazing Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell-Peralta," the SkateOne site reads. "DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness."

What else can I say? See what the hype’s about for yourself. Did they truly reinvent the wheel? Depends who you ask! But again, I've heard nothing but great things about the wheels and can personally say they're pretty rad. Hit your local, cop a set and get ripping!
