Street League Skateboarding just gave us a sneak peek at the course for the upcoming SLS Paris stop, and it’s pretty eye-catching, to say the least.
Inspired by the legendary Roland-Garros arena, the design brings some serious Parisian flavor to the mix while still keeping the classic SLS obstacles we've come to expect from the contest. What do we think of the design this year? Get a closer look below and lets talk Paris.
"SLS heads to Paris, France on October 11, 2025 at the legendary Stade Roland-Garros," Street League mentioned on its site. "This makes history as the first time SLS will transform the legendary clay court venue into a global skateboarding course. History and culture will collide in Paris for an unforgettable SLS event.
Alright, let’s talk about the course. It may not look all that different from other recent stops, and I suppose that’s kind of the point these days. What can you do? SLS has to keep things consistent across contests for obvious reasons, so the courses have naturally leaned toward a more uniform feel over the years. Again—what can you do?
At the same time, the level of consistency and control the pros bring to the contest is unreal, and this standardization certainly plays a role in that. Hey, this is nothing new, I know. But it’s always nice when we get a few new obstacles in the mix, and it looks like Paris will be a pretty ripping course, which begs one question—who's gonna take it this year? Only time will tell.
Circle October 11th on your calendar, book your flights and get your tickets on the Street League site.
