Not many things are as iconic as Nike SB's Dunk silhouette or the heaven-sent vocals of Brudda Iz. Put the two of them together, as Geoff "Peepers" Campbell has done here, and sprinkle in some third-eye spot sourcing of "inside ledges," and you've got a short, sweet, feel-good edit. Geoff and the SB crew Down Under always do it right. Click your heels three times and dive in.
Starring Tai Wepa. Featuring Ben Lawrie, Hayley Wilson, Nick Boserio and Raph Langslow. Filmed & Edited by Geoff Campbell Melbourne - Dec 24/Jan 25
So yeah, the Wizard of Oz Dunks were a big draw in December, then just a couple weeks ago the "Ruby Slippers" special editions popped up in a few shops. Here's the deal with those: The Ruby Slippers were what the Wizard of Oz Dunks were all supposed to be, but with the cost of the shiny, shimmering application, it was going to drive up the wholesale to around $300—way, way too much. So Nike halted production, but there had already been around 50 made. So Nike made the decision to send about 10-15 of those 50 out to shops, the rest were gifted internally, like to Michael Jordan. So the Ruby Red Slipper Dunk, that you might have seen scored at Bluetile in South Carolina or Arts-Rec in San Diego, is one of the most rare Nike shoes ever made.
Speaking of the SB team down under, remember this banger Medley? Give it a rewatch—the whole crew from this video has come up!
And good times in the ol' TWS Park with some Nike SB AUS ams back in 2018!
