For the cover, Mike Blabac had this epic photo of Jimmy Wilkins frontside Ollieing at Tony Hawk's ramp. Mike used studio photography techniques: A snoot on a professional strobe, to make a Broadway-style spotlight on the wall. Then he had Jimmy fly right into it. The thought behind it, the mix of creative photography and one of the best styles in skating—this one screamed Photo Annual.
