It’s been a year since Dickies Skateboarding premiered its debut full-length, Honeymoon, and filmmaker Bobby Bils took it upon himself to revisit the project in a unique way.

To mark the anniversary, he cut together a rad new edit titled REFLEXXIONS featuring some used and unused 16mm footage shot during the making of the film. Am I the only one getting some classic TransWorld video montage vibes here? Love it. See for yourself:

"Dickies Honeymoon video premiered a year ago today and I took this as an opportunity to cut together a melancholic, retrospective montage of some used and unused 16mm film I shot for that project," Bobby wrote on YouTube.

We get glimpses of Franky Villani and Jamie Foy in between sessions. Frankie Spears in New York and Dylan Jaeb all over the globe. Some Mike Anderson and Guy Mariano doubles. Christian Henry, Vincent Alvarez, Jake Hayes, Ronnie Sandoval—it's a fun little look back at the video, as well as an intimate behind-the-scenes peak at the missions that made Honeymoon such a ripping skate video.

Between the song and the grainy texture of 16mm film, the edit gives off a dreamy vibe. And while some of the clips might look familiar, others never saw the light of day—until now. I'm stoked Bobby did this. Montages like this are truly timeless.

Can you believe it's been a year since Honeymoon dropped? The Dickies Skateboarding program is something to admire. The team rips, the gear is classic. I can't wait to see what the OG workwear brand hits us with next. But for now, feast your eyes on REFLEXXIONS.
