Watch: Primitive Just Dropped Filipe Mota's Unmastered 'DAYDREAM' Clips

Filipe's part in the Primitive Am video, 'DAYDREAM' showed us all yet again that he's on the path to be one of the greats. But really, it's the stuff we don't always see—the battles, close calls, slams, grueling sessions—that really make the most epic video parts what they are.

If you're a fan of raw clips, you're in luck—Primitive recently dropped 20+ minutes of Filipe's unmastered clips and they really put his 'DAYDREAM' part into perspective in a really cool way. Take a look:

In certain categories, Filipe's bag of tricks is basically unmatched. Not just anyone can pull off some of the moves that this dude has resting in his back pocket. His hurricane game speaks for itself. And somehow, he escapes some of those bails like he's skating a flatbar or something?

If you were a fan of his DAYDREAM part, you'll certainly get a kick out of this. Someone on YouTube commented, "Parts make me appreciate skating, these vids make me appreciate skaters." Couldn't have said it any better. I'm a huge fan of raw clips and really get a kick out of feeling like I'm there on the session.

At the end of the day, there's no denying that Filipe Mota is an absolute machine. But again, clips like this remind us that even the most talented skateboarders on the planet still gotta work for it. Sometimes we simply forget these dudes are in fact human after all. That said... his kickflip front blunt on the Hollywood 16 still leaves that notion up for debate. Outta control!

Anyways, kick back, press play and let these sessions motivate you. Nothing important comes easy, and skaters like Filipe know that. But hey, putting in the work and winning these battles is half the fun, right? Right.
