Back in 2002, Zero released its ‘Stained Glass’ series, dropping pro models for Jamie Thomas, Chris Cole, Adrian Lopez, John Rattray, and Matt Mumford. It was also the year Dying to Live hit our VHS players—arguably peak Zero—and the brand was absolutely on fire, to say the least.

Over two decades later, Zero brought back the series, reimagining it for a new era with boards from: Kanaan Dern, Adam Arunski, Dane Burman, Brandon Burleigh and Jamie Thomas, featuring artwork by Paul Brown—the artist who created the original series—making it a proper full circle moment. Take a look:

Series like this are always rad because you get a little taste of the riders' personalities with each graphic. It's also the perfect series for the wall, obviously, but don't be fooled—they're made to skate. That said, it was the kind of graphic that made its way onto bedroom walls just as often as it hit the streets back in the early 2000s, so it's certainly worth the debate.

The drop is accompanied by some new tees and stickers as well, and it's all hitting shops as we speak. For the collectors, the die-hards or the new generation of Zero fans, here's your chance to skate (or hang) a piece of history.

I remember skating the Rattray and Lopez boards in my early teens, and I absolutely loved them. This new series is a proper nod to the past, but still offers a fresh perspective, if anything because of the names on the boards. Hit your local and cop your fav before it's gone.
