Armada Drops Exciting Trailer for Seminal Film Project, 'Ornada'

Today, September 15, 2025, Armada skis has finally released the trailer for their long-awaited team project, ORNADA.

The iconic brand has cemented their place in the ski industry as not just one of the 'cool kids' due to the endless high-level talent on their athlete roster, but as makers of skis that are worthy of every bit of their cult following.

ORNADA, which has been in the works for more than two years, is a culmination of skiing and audio-visual artistry that's representative of Armada's contribution to freeskiing and its culture. The film features the skiing of iconic Armada athletes such as Tanner Hall, Kim Boberg, Mike Hornbeck, Sammy Carlson, Henrik Harlaut, Todd Ligare, Phil Casabon, Quinn Wolferman, Dani Bacher, Olivia Asselin, Rell Harwood, Kuura Koivisto, Toby Rafford, and more. ORNADA features everything from huge AK spines to rowdy street segments to artfully crafted park jumps.

The film was also notably co-directed by and edited in part by Armada athlete Phil Casabon. "The all-mighty Armada mothership assembles a never-before-seen cast --blending OGz with legendz in the making - to redefine the creative rhythm of freeski cinema in the movie ORNADA," said Casabon.

Because ski films are best enjoyed on a big screen, Armada is taking ORNADA on tour with more than 60 stops planned worldwide.

Five of these stops will feature a special ORNADA Live Experience, with a seven-piece orchestra from New York City live-scoring the film and an accompanying art installations.

ORNADA Live Experience shows will also have giveaways from film partners such as IKON Pass, Monster, Ski-Doo, evo, and yours truly, POWDER Magazine.

The film's world premiere and inaugural ORNADA Live Experience takes place in Salt Lake City on October 25. Other ORNADA Live Experiences will take place in Newport Beach, California, Innsbruck, Austria, New York City, and Quebec City. The full film tour can be found via Armada's website as well.
