Have a few bare walls in your house that would look better with ski decor?Aspen Snowmass, Colorado, has just the thing.

In an auction that started yesterday and goes until October 5, 2025, signs from Aspen’s collection of ski resorts are available.

All of the auction’s proceeds benefit the local effort to purchase the Aspen-Basalt and Mountain Valley mobile home parks and help the people living there adopt a resident-owned community model.

The Aspen-Basalt and Mountain Valley mobile home parks went up for sale in March. Since then, their residents have been raising money to buy the land from its owner and preserve their housing. Together, private groups and local governments have contributed millions of dollars worth of funds towards the purchase.

Aspen One, the brand behind Aspen Snowmass, has pledged $600,000, a portion of which will come from the trail sign auction, the Aspen Times reported

The Aspen Snowmass trail sign auction follows a similar effort from the summer, when Alpental, Washington, auctioned off the chairs from its iconic Chair 2, which is being replaced with a newer model. That drive raised almost $200,000 for four education-focused nonprofits.

If you think a “terrain park” sign would bring together the feng shui in your bathroom—and want to support affordable housing—you can participate in Aspen’s auction by following this link.
