I'll just go ahead and say it: 2024 is the year of limited-edition gear. Whether it's skis from some of our favorite ski makers, collabs between brands, or really unexpected things like Columbia's new Darth Vader kit, if you want to stand out, this is the year.

Speaking of, Star Wars nerds rejoice. Columbia just released a new technical streetwear line called the Vader Collection. Yep, it's all black (with subtle red highlights and Japanese streetwear-inspired prints), and features everything you might want to emulate your inner Lord Vader, both in town and even on the slopes. There's multiple insulated layers, a parka, shoes, accessories, and of course logo tees. The only thing that's missing is the mask, maybe you could re-purpose the Death Star RuRoc helmet for that?

Inside, the kit features Columbia's Omni-Heat Infinity insulation. There's even little details light lightsaber zipper pulls and Aurebesh lettering. For those not in the know, Aurebesh is the basic 34-letter alphabet used in the Star Wars universe.

Columbia partnered with Lucasfilm to bring this to life. There's even a run of the 3-in-1 jacket that's been autographed by Darth Vader actor Hayden Christensen, with 100 percent of the sale going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
