Lindsey Vonn Reveals Her Top 6 Offseason Exercises

It's no surprise that one of the most successful ski racers of all time has a pretty dialed gym routine.

When you've dealt with injuries like Lindsey Vonn has, the whole PT program becomes pretty necessary. The 40-year-old (coulda fooled me!) went from a partial knee replacement to a second place podium in Super-G at the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley earlier this year, so clearly she's doing something right.

Lucky for the rest of us mere mortals, Vonn has blessed us with one of her favorite off-season workouts to keep her in peak fitness. With her eye on the 2026 Winter Games, Vonn is likely working to not just maintain her base ski fitness, but continue leveling up her strength with the addition of her bionic knee. The workout Vonn shared is a great full body workout with an emphasis on legs, core, and power, three essentials for ski strength.

I can say with almost complete certainty that I will not be benching as much as Vonn, and that this workout will deck me, but in case anyone else wants to give it a whack:

Lindsey Vonn's Offseason Workout

10-20 min warmup

1. Kettlebell standing oblique crunch - 3 sets of 15 on each side

2. Low reverse lunge with counter weight FAST - 3 sets of 20

3. Partner/wall medicine ball throws - 13 sets of 15 on each side (*13 might also be a typo, cause that's insane, but also it's Lindsey Vonn so who knows?)

4.Single leg rear foot elevated squats - 4 sets of 12 on each side

5. Swiss ball oblique toss (or just hold the ball) - 3 sets of 10-15 on each side

6. Hip thrusts - 4 sets of 20, holding for 1-2 seconds at the top

10-20 min cooldown

I cannot confirm nor deny that doing this workout will give you World Cup Super G podium level strength, but worth a shot, eh?
