Now that the race season is over, Mikaela Shiffrin can focus on other aspects of life like the various celebrity cameos that she's earned herself as an American sports icon.

Last week, Shiffrin started teasing something musical via her Instagram page, but if you missed it (like I did), or don't passionately follow musical reality TV (I don't), what came next was quite the surprise. Shiffrin made a guest appearance on the singing-based reality show The Voice for the season finale on May 20, 2025.

Shiffrin stopped by the show's set to give two of the hosts, Michael Bublé and Kelsey Ballerini some ski tips. It's pretty hard to teach skiing from a sound stage, especially to two folks who don't have much experience on actual skis. What occurred instead was a silly bit in which Shiffrin tries to teach Bublé and Ballerini the difference between pizza and french fry and some body position basics before utilizing a couple of ski simulators. Needless to say, the whole thing was pretty goofy and a little cringy.

Just as Shriffin blowing fake snow at Ballerini had me ready to write it off as a silly reality TV appearance, Bublé and Ballerini sit Shiffrin down with a guitar and a microphone.

DID ANYONE ELSE KNOW SHE COULD SING?

I'll admit that I don't follow ski racing closely, and therefore I'm unfamiliar with many ski racers, so it's entirely possible this was a massive oversight on my part, especially considering she posted a video of the same song on her Instagram a week prior. But whether or not this is news to you, the question I keep returning to is— Is there anything Mikaela Shiffrin can't do??

Based on Bublé and Ballerini's reactions, they were thinking the same thing. While they may not have gained many new ski skills, they might have found a new contestant for The Voice, that is, whenever Shiffrin is done winning every gold medal in sight.

If the clip from the show isn't enough, you can listen to Shiffrin's full version of the song below too. Tap or click to watch.
