This June, Palisades Tahoe will be testing out how off-season leg strength training is going by hosting a series of trail running events. All jokes aside, three of the most iconic trail running events will grace the slopes of Palisades this summer for 10 days of trail racing.

From June 19-22, 2025 the Broken Arrow Skyrace presented by Salomon, will transform the Village into a mountain running festival ground that features races, daily yoga, films, and panels. The event will feature nine races that range from a vertical kilometer to a 52K ultra race. Courses are designed for runners of all levels and utilize the technical ridgelines, snowfields, and summit trails at Palisades. All nine races will finish right in the Village.

Following the Broken Arrow Skyrace, TrailCon by On will take over Palisades from June 24-25. A trail running festival complete with over 20 individual panels and activations in a vendor village with more than 60 brands present, TrailCon celebrates the most educational and inspiring topics in the sport currently.

A completely free event, athletes and fans of the sport won't want to miss two days of events and demos of all the latest and greatest in trail running.

To close out the month, the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run presented by HOKA will take place from June 28-29. The Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run is the oldest 100-mile trail race and has been drawing athletes to race through the Sierra Nevada since 1974. The race begins at Palisades Tahoe before winding through the rugged Sierra terrain to Auburn, CA and draws some of the top athletes in trail running to the course.

“This is the kind of energy we live for,” said Patrick Lacey, PR Manager at Palisades Tahoe. “To see runners from all over the world come together right here at Palisades Tahoe—on our trails, in our village, with our community is something truly special. We’re proud to be part of it."
