Hollywood stars and elite athletes are flocking to the French Riviera this week to attend the world's biggest celebration of advertising in Cannes, France. Olympic champion alpine skier Lindsey Vonn joined the star-studded festival lineup.

Vonn appeared as a featured speaker at Sport Beach, organized by global digital marketing network Stagwell. As the official Lions Sport partner, this annual beachside event connects athletes, brands and media executives. Together, they discuss advertising, sponsorships and other sports business opportunities.

On Friday, Vonn took to Instagram to share images and a video from her time at this year’s Cannes Lions. One interview photo showed the 41-year-old skiing icon in a light yellow halter top and a matching long skirt. She completed the elegant look with light-colored flat sandals.

“I think I Cannes… ,” Vonn captioned the post.

The update quickly caught the attention of her fans, who flooded the comments section with praise.

"So beautiful," a fan commented.

"U look awesome!" another wrote.

"You are wonderful ❤️" a follower said.

"You're an inspiration to so many. Thank you!" another remarked.

"The Champ!" a supporter posted.

"You most definitely Cannes!!!" added another, playing on her caption's pun.

Vonn is widely regarded as one of the greatest alpine skiers of all time. She won a gold and a bronze medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games. In 2018, she earned another bronze medal at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics

Vonn also captured a staggering 84 World Cup victories throughout her historic career. Most recently, she competed in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. She courageously entered the competition despite tearing her ACL in her left knee just days before the events began.

However, she crashed out of the downhill race, suffering a complex tibia fracture that required multiple surgeries. Because of the accident, she finished the Games without adding any new medals.

Fortunately, the three-time Olympic medalist is making great progress in her recovery from injury. She recently shared that she has returned to gym workouts.

This personal resilience is exactly what she discussed during her featured speaking role at Cannes. Vonn concluded her time on stage by explaining how lessons from legendary sports comebacks translated into successful brand stories.

Beyond her skiing career, Vonn is a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and athlete advocate. She deeply supports women’s soccer through her strategic investments in Utah Royals FC and the Los Angeles-based Angel City FC.
