Epic Pass has added a handful of key Austrian ski areas to its already extensive roster of resorts ahead of the 2025/26 ski season.
Staple Alps ski areas, Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun have both joined the pass, according to a May 21 announcement from Epic Pass parent company, Vail Resorts. The new partnership will give skiers access to Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang's 270 kilometers of groomed slopes and 70 chair lifts. Saalbach is know for being one of the largest ski areas in the country and hosted the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2025 as well as the FWT Fieberbrunn Pro.
Skiers will also get access to Kitzsteinhorn in Zell Am See-Kaprun. Kitzsteinhorn sits on a glacier which means it has some of the most reliable snow conditions in the Alps and incredible views. Kitzsteinhorn has 61 kilometers of groomed slopes as well as plenty of amazing off-piste freeride terrain, which has put it on the map as a top freeride destination in the Alps.
Kitzsteinhorn has also hosted 3* and 4* FWT Qualifiers for more than a decade and hosted a European FWT Challenger stop in 2024 and 2025.

Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is just under 90 minutes from the Salzburg airport and just over two hours from the Munich airport, making it a fairly easy destination to get to.
Kitzsteinhorn in Zell am See is also just under ninety minutes from Salzburg. From Munich, Kitzsteinhorn is just over a two hour drive and is also not far from the adorable Austrian town of Mittersill, which is home to the Blizzard-Tecnica headquarters and factory (and the best beer shack ever).
Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun are the second set of Austrian resorts to join the Epic Pass behind Ski Arlberg, which is the largest connected resort in Austria.
The Epic Pass is currently on sale for $1,051 for adults and $537 for children at its lowest price of the year until May 26.
