Officials at Winter Park, CO, posted a chairlift POV with their long-awaited closing day announcement.

Although they have remained open long after many North American resorts, officials wrote, "after some beautifully sunny late season days, it’s time to announce that our last day of skiing and riding is Monday, May 27!" See below.

The post further included information reminding everyone that this weekend is a three-day weekend, and that Winter Park saw over 400 inches of snow fall this winter.

Specifically, Winter Park received 406 inches of snowfall this season, with 5 inches of that falling in the last 24 hours.

The resort is currently operating with 38% of terrain open, 4 lifts spinning, and 59 out of a possible 171 trails open. We doubt anyone is complaining though, given the date.

The last part of Winter Park's Instagram announcement reads, "The Jane Beach is happening this Saturday, too! Join us at the Mary Jane base for a DJ, Pass Holder drink specials, and exclusive giveaways."

The Jane Beach is a weekly event with "all the sun, all the fun, none of the sand stuck in your shoes six years later." Jane Beach Saturdays feature a live DJ, drinks specials, and giveaways from the resort.

It's been a good season for Winter Park, and it isn't over yet. Not without one more weekend of Coloradoan sunshine, live music, and corn snow laps, that is.
